The High Road, Inc. and the Veterans Social Center were founded, formed and are headed by Kenneth L. (Kenny) Hardin. Mr. Hardin is an Honorably Discharged Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. In 2020, he was elected to the NC Military Veterans Hall of Fame 2021 Class. Mr. Hardin served as Salisbury City Councilmember from 2015-2017. He is a 1999 magna cum laude graduate of Pfeiffer University, located in Misenheimer NC. Mr. Hardin Worked for nearly 25 years in Senior leadership roles in healthcare at large academic medical centers and small community based hospitals as well as a consultant in NC, SC, MO, KS, TN, KY, FL, MD and OH.
The High Road, Inc. was established as a 501c3 non-profit organization in January 2021 under North Carolina state laws and in accordance with all IRS requirements and regulations with the expectation of rapid expansion and growth. The High Road, Inc. exists in and crosses multiple industries to include legal, justice, advocacy, service, education and military, and recreation industry.
We’re empowered to raise and receive money to grow and expand, and will contribute the funds raised to accomplish all things necessary to carry out the organizational Mission. The High Road, Inc. shall be operated solely for charitable, improvement and development purposes and for the furthering and improvement of the populations and communities they serve.
There is no membership fee requirement or annual dues to use the Veterans Social Center nor is there a charge for our advocacy services.
